| Brief Paragraph about your marine facilities | Adani Hazira Port Pvt. Ltd. (AHPPL) is strategically located on the west side of the Hazira peninsula at approximately Latitude : 21° 06’ North, Longitude : 72° 37’ East. Adani Hazira Port provides & will strive to provide a convenient international trade gateway to Europe, Africa, America and the Middle East.
Adani Hazira Port Pvt Ltd (AHPPL) operates all non-LNG facilities in Hazira Port under the terms of the agreement with Hazira Port Pvt. Ltd. (HPPL). The plan includes the long-term port development with non-LNG cargo terminals (container and bulk terminals, and a proposed liquid terminal). LNG Terminal will continue to be operated by HPPL. In the future, both entities together will constitute the Hazira Port. AHPPL has commenced operations in the January 2012.
5 Berths are developed and presently 4 are operated as part of the first phase. Out of the 5 berths, 2 cater for the containers and 3 berths are used as a multi-purpose terminal for handling vessels of sizes varying from 80,000 DWT to 150,000 DWT.
The required back up yard along with the Material handling systems (Rail Mounted Quay Cranes, Rubber Tyred Gantry Cranes, Mobile Harbour Cranes, Stacker Cum Reclaimer, Conveyor System etc) are in place to support the operations.
The port has a great potential to serve as a 'Gateway Port' catering to diversified industry clusters in the hinterlands of North, West and Central India. These hinterlands together contribute about 65 per cent of country's containerised traffic. |

| Anchorage | The recommended anchorage is in a location approximately 11 miles SW of the harbour, outside the Magdalla Port Limits, where the sea bottom is sand and is of good holding ground. | Pilotage | Pilotage is compulsory at Hazira Port. Pilot Boarding Ground for Adani Hazira Port (AHPPL) is at Lat : 21˚ 02.5’ N, Long : 72˚ 34.0 E. A tug will be used for boarding Pilot on to the vessel. Port Control shall advise the vessel regarding boarding speed and boarding arrangement required. A good lee will be required to be created to ensure safe boarding of pilot. A good heaving line will be required to be kept standby at the Pilot Embarkation area to pick up PPU (Portable Pilot Unit) equipment safely from the tug which will be used for navigation of the ship through the channel till the berth. |

| Harbour structure | Designed as a deep-water, all-weather direct-berthing multi-cargo port, Hazira Port has been built with a protected harbour design, with 2 breakwaters. The fully functional Adani Hazira Port Private Limited with a short approach channel of ~1 km and present draught of ~13 m includes 3 Multipurpose and 2 Container Berths operational since January 2012.
