Pipavav Defence & Offshore Engineering Company Limited (PDOC) has developed the largest and most technologically advanced integrated shipyard with Heavy Engineering capabilities in the country. It has set up one of the largest dry docks in the world which measures 662m x 65m. Its dock cranage capacity of 1,200 tons, steel fabrication capabilities upto 144,000 tons per annum and covered area (for fabrication, storage & utilities) of around 2 million square feet illustrate its massive scale of operations.
