Last Mile Connectivity
GMB actively participates in developing the rail linkages to the ports present in Gujarat since road and rail linkage plays major role in the development of port and port led industries. Gujarat Ports viz. Pipavav, Mundra, Navlakhi, Bhavnagar and Okha are connected with Broad Gauge network of the nation. Work of connecting Dahej via rail linkage has been undertaken by SPV called Dahej-Bharuch Rail Co. Ltd. which is now operational. Linkages at Bedi and Porbandar are also proposed to be provided in consultation with RVNL.
