JOB OBJECTIVE
The Business Development Officer supports business growth processes in his leadership position
over the business development department, where he oversees the activities and performance of all
departments. He reaches out to potential business prospects and focuses on the development and
growth of the business through building relationships in the industry, identifying opportunities, and
completing business deals.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY
Business Development
- Supervise client relationship management activities for the Company with a view to ensuring the
successful implementation and development of projects.
- Engage with key clients and stakeholders across public and private space.
- Engage with leadership to formulate business development objectives and goals
- Develop action plan to achieve the stated business development objectives and goals
- Engage with the leadership for the development of continuous evaluation of short and long-term
strategic business development objectives
- Provide recommendations to strategically enhance project development and implementation
- Precisely articulate and communicate market feedback on projects
- Establish and maintain client policies and procedures for the company
Other
- Direct and oversee all aspects of the Business Development functions of the organization
- Continuously review work practices and procedures for better operational efficiency
- Identify potential issues client management processes and controls and proactively act to resolve
- Supervise the Business Development team and ensure team members have clarity on the roles
and responsibilities
